GRO-Compliant Sedum Green Roof System
Minimum order 10m2
This system includes 5 layers:
- Sedum Mix Blanket
- Roof Garden Substrate Extensive
- Drainage Type 20R
- Protective Cover
- Root Barrier Foil
The build-up of this GRO-compliant sedum green roof system creates a beautifully sustainable green roof. The 30mm roof garden substrate layer is developed to FLL guidelines and is a nutrient-rich substrate, ensuring healthy and strong sedum plants. There are 6-8 species of hardy succulents; each has been selected over many years of growing experience by our growers for its ability to absorb and retain water and to thrive in adverse weather conditions. The plants are grown on a coco fibre matting using a special cultivation substrate, over a 12-month period. The sedum blankets in this system provide at least 95% plant coverage, ensuring an instant green roof.
If you are creating a gravel border around the roof edges, skylights, lanterns or drainage areas, it is important to add an additional drainage layer to sit beneath the gravel.
Ideal for: Domestic & commercial roofs, garden rooms, flat roofs 0 – 5°.
