DELIVERY TERMS

Below are our standard Delivery Terms.  At the point of check out you will be given the opportunity to select a delivery day.  You may choose up to 60 days in advance. 

3.1 ****WE ARE NOW ABLE TO DELIVER OUR CLICK N GO SEDUM TRAYS ON MONDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY- PLEASE CONTACT US IF THE WEBSITE DOESN’T OFFER YOU THE DAY YOU WOULD LIKE*****

For our other systems, we have a delivery lead-time of between 6-12 working days from receipt of payment, and subject to availability. Our order cut off time is Tuesday at 6pm for delivery the following week. We deliver on Thursdays and Fridays. Delivery is between 8am and 5.30pm and specific times of day for delivery may be possible if your local depot offers this. Please note there is an extra cost for this so please get in touch info@thegreenroofcompany.co.uk.

3.2 Delivery of pallets (green roof systems and some products) is made by a third party transport company who are part of the National Pallet Network and delivery charges are fixed for 30 days from the date of the quotation and / or confirmation of order.

3.3 Delivery is to kerb side only using a Tail lift and pump truck. The driver does not unload the pallets onto your property and you are responsible for disposing of the pallet(s) upon which your order was delivered.

3.4 Please advise of any restrictions to access for the delivery vehicle, and any other special delivery requirements. Consideration should be given to offloading materials safely but quickly. Generally, if a bin truck size vehicle can’t get to you, then we need to make the delivery company aware of this, and although we will do our best to accommodate your needs, if a delivery fails due to access issues, we reserve the right to charge you for any re-delivery costs incurred. Please be aware, there may be extra costs incurred for specialist vehicles.

3.5: Unloading or standing time of more than one hour will be charged at £84 per hour per vehicle. Please be aware that if the unloading or standing time exceeds one hour, the unloaded vehicle may leave. In this event, all costs will be charged to the Buyer and The Green Roof Company (NW) Ltd will not be liable for these costs.

3.6 Delivery damage or problems must be reported to The Green Roof Company (NW) Ltd office immediately (or within 24 hours at the latest) by telephone, and photographs must be provided as evidence and emailed to info@thegreenroofcompany.co.uk

Upon delivery of your order please count the items to ensure all is correct and any discrepancies to be reported immediately by a phone call or email. Please provide photographs of the items on and off the pallets where discrepancies occur. Once the products are installed we cannot be held responsible for any shortfall which may be due to cutting the products down to size and/or wastage. We are available by phone and email 7 days a week so leave a message if unanswered

Sedum blankets are in rolls and each roll measures 1.2m2. Partial rolls will be supplied, order size dependant

Lightweight Substrate comes in 3m2 rolls. Partial rolls will be supplied, order size dependant

Super Lightweight Substrate comes in 6m2 rolls. Partial rolls will be supplied, order size dependant

Lightweight Drainage comes in 1.2m wide rolls and will be cut to length, order size dependant 

 

Traditional Drainage comes in 1.05m wide rolls and will be cut to length, order size dependant

3.7 We work with a third party delivery company and although we aim to deliver on the day and times agreed wherever possible, there are no guarantees of this and deliveries are subject to delays with weather, traffic etc. As such, we are not responsible for any losses incurred, such as machinery hire or labour.

3.8 If non-perishable Goods are damaged in transit and the damage is apparent on delivery, you should sign the delivery note to the effect that the goods have been damaged. In any event, you should report such damage to The Green Roof Company (NW) Ltd within 24 hours and to arrange collection and return. The Green Roof Company (NW) Ltd is responsible for paying shipment costs. Upon receipt of the returned Goods, the price of the Goods only, as paid by you, will be refunded to you through the payment method used when you purchased the Goods.

3.9 Any living plant products will not be shipped if the weather temperature is over 30 degree or in severe storm conditions with weather warnings issued by the Met Office.

4. You have a statutory right to a “cooling off” period for non-perishable goods. This period begins once your order is complete and ends 7 days after the Goods have been delivered. If you change your mind about the goods within this period, please return them to The Green Roof Company (NW) Ltd within 7 days of receipt. Goods can only be returned for this reason if their packaging remains unopened and the Goods can be re-sold, as new, without any additional work on the part of The Green Roof Company (NW) Ltd. You are responsible for paying shipment costs if Goods are returned for this reason.

4.1 Product

4.2 There is no guarantee on the sedum vegetation as it is a living product.

4.3 The Green Roof Company (NW) Ltd cannot guarantee the performance of plants and other components supplied by The Green Roof Company (NW) Ltd if installed by others.

4.4 Claims regarding damaged goods or non-delivery will not be accepted unless received within one day from dispatch date and confirmed in writing via email, but please call the office for advice.

4.5 Our Sedum vegetation mats must be unrolled on day of delivery. Our Click ‘N’ Go trays should also be unstacked on the day of delivery.
