Flat Roof Gravel
This shaded gravel is applied to create a vegetation-free zone on the roof and helps to prevent the drains from becoming blocked. Gravel can be applied to the edges of the roof, around drains, Velux windows, Lanterns, and air conditioning units.
When using gravel, you will need to add an additional amount of the drainage layer of the green roof system you choose, to sit beneath it.
One bag will cover 2 linear meters, based on a gravel edge of 10cm wide.
